I provide individualized one-on-one counseling because everyone is unique! I don’t provide specific meal plans because they don’t teach you how to eat once you’ve finished the plan. I will, however, provide you with practical tips, meal suggestions and ideas that are realistic and help meet your needs. My goal is to teach you how to eat in a way that’s enjoyable and nourishing for long-term sustainability instead of yo-yo dieting.
SPECIALTIES:
weight management
diabetes
heart disease and cholesterol management
gastrointestinal health and diseases (such as IBS/IBD)
oncology nutrition (including prevention, treatment, and survivorship)
We’ll start with an initial 60-minute appointment during which we’ll discuss your goals and review all aspects of your life that relate to wellness including sleep, stress, exercise, overall lifestyle, and of course diet. It’s important we review everything in order for me to develop a personalized plan that will work for you.
Because change is nearly impossible to make from one 60-minute session, we’ll continue to follow up with 30-minute sessions to ensure you’re on the right path to reaching your goals.
Save with the starter package that includes an initial 60-minute session + two 30-minute follow-up sessions.
While I do not accept health insurance, a Super Bill (detailed receipt of services rendered) can be provided for you to submit to your health insurance company. Reimbursements are dependent on your plan and coverage. To find out if your insurance will reimburse you for medical nutrition therapy, call the number on the back of your insurance card.
